ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) — State lawmakers in Albany are talking taxes Monday, at a hearing on Governor Cuomo's budget proposal.

At a legislative hearing, lawmakers discussed raising taxes on tobacco and cigars, in the hopes of raising much needed state revenue.
Lawmakers are also holding a public hearing on a high salaries paid to executives for non-for-profit organizations that rely on taxpayer money.
