BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Sales tax revenues are up in Erie County.
The county took in almost $401 million in sales tax last year, an increase of 4.5 percent over the previous year. It's the first time the sales tax taken has ever risen above $400 million.
Cross border shopping by Canadians contributed heavily to the number.
