NYS farms featured on Capitol Hill

WASHINGTON D.C. (WIVB) — Senator Kirsten Gillibrand helped showcase New York State farms on Capitol Hill on Wednesday evening.

The 11 th annual New York Farm day featured farm-fresh products and seafood from each region of the state.

The event, held at the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington D.C. showed off New York wines including those from the Lake Erie and Niagara regions.  Upstate Farms and Welch’s Foods were also represented.

Senator Gillibrand is the first NYS Senator in nearly 40 years to serve on the Senate Agriculture Committee
