BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A blast from New York's political past will soon be out of jail. According to reports, former State Comptroller Alan Hevesi will be released December 19th.
Hevesi, 72, has been in jail since April of 2011 over a scandal involving the state's pension system.
He was sentenced to one to four years.
