ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — On Wednesday, January 9, 2013, Governor Andrew Cuomo addressed the people of New York in his annual State of the State address.
A few of the items he discussed: better education for struggling areas, decriminalizing small amounts of marijuana, tougher gun laws, more casinos, an agency to market products made in New York, and a minimum wage increase to $8.75 an hour.
